Alpaca fleece comes in about 22 different shades with the basic colors of white, black, fawn, red, brown and grey. White, light fawn, and light grey can be easily dyed.

Alpaca fleece is stronger than sheep's wool and has less "prickle factor." Also unlike sheep's wool, it does not contain lanolin, so it's ready to spin after coming off the animal.

We have rovings available for those who spin, or processed yarn in a variety of colors. We also take custom orders and can hold specific colors or yarn from a specific animal if requested. Our skeins (cones or hand-tied) average about 3 oz. and 110 yds. each.
