A True Black, with fleece that does not bleach out to red in the sun, with nice fleece, excellent conformation, and a great personality. Totara was easy to train and makes a wonderful herdsire. He produced Fine Fleece Droste (ARI #30857292), who looks exactly like him and even inherited his calm disposition.
